Can we bring in our own caterer?
We have preferred local caterers. We also welcome your favourite caterers from the city.
Can we provide our own alcohol?
Yes! This is a cost savings you can benefit from with Laurentian House. Providing your own alcohol saves on average about $60/guest.
Who sets up dining tables with place settings?
This is part of the service that our Preferred Vendors include in their catering package.
Can we wear high heels?
We suggest wedge heels, flat shoes, or sandals.
Can we have live music?
Yes!
What time is curfew?
Music ends at 1:00 am, and close the barn doors at 2:00 am.
Do I need any special permits or insurance?
We obtain an application for a reunion permit on your behalf. Additional liability insurance protection is taken for each wedding, and your guests.
Are candles allowed?
Wax candles throughout the venue, as long as they are enclosed.
What do you do for colder evenings?
We love fires, and encourage with each wedding. Couples have also offered blankets for late nights.
Can we bring our pets?
Since we are in nature, animals are not permitted.
If it is important to have an animal on site for the ceremony, please let us know to discuss options.
Do guests drive or rent buses/shuttles?
We have ample space for parking on the property.
Most couples rent buses, eliminating the possibility of drinking and driving. We have several vendors to suggest.
Are there any hotels nearby?
There are many Airbnbs 5 minutes away.
We often recommend guests to stay at the Mont Tremblant resort, less than 15 minutes away. It has both Airbnbs and hotels, as well as additional restaurants and activities throughout the seasons.
